Fairway Rise

Fairway Rise

Fairway Rise Lifestyle Village is a retirement community in the lush Tasmanian bush setting that was once the home of the original Royal Hobart Golf Club.

Organisation

Southern Cross Care Tasmania.

Location

Rosny Park (Hobart), Tasmania.

Project overview

  • Lifestyle Village
  • 80+ Independent Villas (new development)
  • Apartments
  • Residential Aged Care facility

Fairway Rise Lifestyle Village has been built on a section of what was Rosny Park Public Golf Course. With history dating back to 1916, this site has views over Bellerive to the River Derwent, Mount Nelson and Bruny Island.

Our role

Develop and implement a marketing strategy–including positioning, budgets, ongoing promotional activities; recruit and train sales team; ongoing liaison with executive, sales and project team; product design input; database management and reporting.

Campaigns executed were respectful of the golfing history, and were supported by a range of integrated marketing activities including: direct marketing; editorial and press releases; exclusive/database events; online activity; newsletters; signage; and more.

Results

Through carefully planned marketing activities the first stage sold out quickly, with first residents having settled within six months of the project launch, and all future ILU’s sold off-the-plan.

The sales and marketing strategies implemented have been effective in securing, converting and keeping leads. A fantastic success story!

Of much interest has been that this project was marketed well, but no media advertising was used to generate enquiries.
